YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the National Customer Service Operations Manager, the incumbent will have the following main responsibilities:

  • Provide prompt and efficient service to internal and external customers and ensure follow-ups;
  • Review data in the system to proactively communicate with clients and ensure the accuracy of information regarding services provided by operations;
  • Act proactively in identifying issues and implementing solutions to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction;
  • Comply with policies, procedures, standards, and regulations in force in warehouses (OHS, BRCGS standards, HACCP, etc.);
  • Work collaboratively with operations across various warehouses and with the sales team;
  • Work within a multidisciplinary, pan-Canadian team across different time zones;
  • Handle claims requests with the involved parties as needed;
  • Provide data required for report preparation; finalize the processing of customer orders;
  • Process product transfers between clients;
  • Respond to inquiries from internal and external customers;
  • Support the team during absences and vacations;
  • Perform any other related tasks.

General skills

EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

  • College diploma (DEC) in a relevant field;
  • Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience in customer service;
  • Or an equivalent combination of work and education;
  • Experience in the food industry, warehousing, and/or transportation is considered an asset.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a keen sense of customer service (tact and diplomacy);
  • Ability to prioritize and organize tasks efficiently and effectively while meeting deadlines;
  • Ability to collaborate remotely or in person with a team and foster a supportive work environment;
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and thoroughness in work;
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly Outlook;
  • Knowledge of a warehouse management system is considered an asset;
  • Customer service-oriented mindset;
  • Computer skills (MS Office, email, Internet Explorer, etc.);
  • Knowledge of HACCP standards (asset).
  • Bilingualism: spoken and written languages (French* and English)

*French is required for this position, as the incumbent will have the responsibility of supporting, collaborating, and communicating effectively with colleagues, partners, and clients across Canada.
