RESPONSIBILITIES
The main responsibilities of the person in this position will be:

  • Conception and upgrades: Ensure the development of new projects and the improvement of existing solutions according to the organization’s needs.
  • Collaboration and agility: Work closely with the development team members in an Agile mode.
  • Code review : Review code from team members and ensure quality control.
  • R&D and Innovation: Conduct research and development to find innovative solutions.
  • Tests: Define and carry out tests in accordance with specifications to produce quality deliverables.
  • Corrections: Participate in diagnosing and correcting anomalies discovered in test and production environments.

General skills

EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
To qualify for this position, it is recommended that you:

  • Hold an AEC (Attestation of Collegial Studies) or a DEC (Diploma of Collegial Studies) in computer science or its equivalent.
  • Have approximately two (2) to five (5) years of experience in software development.
  • Possess a good understanding of the Microsoft development environment, including Microsoft .Net Core, Microsoft Visual Studio, and Microsoft Azure.
  • Be familiar with Microsoft SQL Server database servers.

The following will be considered assets:

  • Experience in analyzing client needs and writing user stories.
  • Relevant experience in the manufacturing / warehousing domain.
  • Knowledge of concepts such as APIs, streaming, real-time data flow, access security, and scalability.
