Join our team as an Inventory Control Coordinator, where you'll play a critical role in maintaining warehouse integrity, solving inventory discrepancies, optimizing processes, and ensuring products move efficiently from receiving to shipping.
Shift: Monday to Friday 1:30PM to 9:30PM
Type: Regular, Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: $24 – $26.50
Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, the incumbent’s main responsibilities will be:
• Periodic routine inventory counts (per customer, by zone, etc.);
• Perform basic checks in different areas of the warehouse to determine if the
product could have been placed in the wrong place;
• Ensure the tracking of damaged or missing crates. Make the necessary
inventory adjustments and apply the appropriate corrections to the system;
• Proceed to the update of the inventory counts (system and physical);
• Analyze the source of possible errors and propose a corrective action to
avoid repeating any;
• Make the follow-ups with internal customers;
• Prepare reports (reports on causes, financial reports, numbers and location
of product);
• Optimize the stocktaking system and the working methods;
• Verify on a random basis the orders sent to expedition;
• Inform employees about the applicable working methods updates and about
changes made to the system;
• Control and prepare the samples for suppliers;
• Manage products to be destructed;
• Occasionally verify the size of boxes and pallets;
• Operate a forklift;
• Assist the supervisors and perform the supervisor’s tasks occasionally;
• Perform any other related tasks.

EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
• High School Logistics Diploma;
• Minimum of three years (3) experience in a similar position;
• Or equivalent combination of professional experience and study.

HIRING REQUIRMENTS

• Ability and capacity to lift loads up to 25 kg;
• Ability to work in cold (between 4°C and -25°C);
• Must have of a valid forklift operator card;
