Congebec, founded in Quebec City in 1974, is celebrating its 50th anniversary, and to mark the occasion, simultaneous celebrations have been held at each of its refrigeration centers across Canada.

Quebec-based Congebec has taken advantage of the construction of its new Mascouche freezer in 2022-2023 to introduce a refrigeration system that uses carbon dioxide (CO2) instead of traditional ammonia (NH3), a highly efficient and environmentally-friendly solution. [Article in French]
